Vladimir Shopov

Vladimir Shopov is an author, researcher and consultant. Graduated Political Science at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski “and  London School of Economics and Political Science. He has professional qualifications at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and the European University Institute, Florence.

Currently he is an external lecturer at New Bulgarian University and at Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Vladimir Shopov was European Affairs  adviser to the Minister of the Interior (1997-1998), Advisor to the Mission of the Republic of Bulgaria to the EU Brussels, Belgium (1998-2001), European Affairs Adviser at the British Embassy in Sofia (2002-2003) and adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014-2017).

He has worked as a lecturer in political science at Sofia University and also as a manager and senior researcher at Alpha Research Ltd. He consulted companies from UK, Spain, USA, Sweden and others.

He is a member of the British Association for Policy Studies.
