James Gomez

James Gomez has been working for Bloomberg for 22 years, most of it covering Еastern Europe from Prague and managing a team of reporters From Kiev to Sofia.
James started in Bloomberg, London as a news editor before moving to Vienna to be part of the first two-person bureau there. He went to Prague in 1998 working in various capacities from economy editor to his current job as Team Leader for breaking news for all of Eastern Europe outside of Russia.
Before Bloomberg, he was a business writer for the Los Angeles Times and a former Boston Globe and United Press correspondent.
