General Manager of Amgen Bulgaria and President of AmCham Bulgaria
Dr. Krassimira Chemishanska is a business leader in the pharmaceutical industry with more than 20 years experience on the Bulgarian market.
Since 2009 as General Manager of Amgen Bulgaria, Krassimira has been responsible for opening the new Amgen affiliate, establishing Amgen’s operations, setting up the organization and developing the business in the country.
From 1994 to 2009 she has held senior positions in several multinational pharmaceutical companies. She has nine years of professional experience as Marketing Director and Member of the Board of Directors in AstraZeneca.
Dr. Chemishanska graduated Medicine from the Medical University in Sofia and worked for two years as scientific collaborator in the field of clinical immunology. Following the demands of her professional career she obtained a Diploma in Marketing, followed by a Master Degree in Business Administration from the International Business School and a Master Degree in General Management from the City University of Seattle.
Since 2011 she is a member of the Board of Directors of AmCham, as from 2014 is a Chairman of AmCham Health Committe. In 2015 she was elected for a president of AmCham in Bulgaria.
From 2013 she is a member of the Board of Directors ARPharM and Foundation “Junior Achievement”. She is an active member of ARPharm and BBLF in Bulgaria and has been invited speaker in the BBLF Master Classes.
